Northern Territory police have launched a search for a British tourist who went missing in the central Australian outback.
Michael Denon-Ross, who is on holidays from the UK, was last seen at his hotel in Alice Springs two weeks ago and staff have since found his abandoned luggage.
The 57-year-old travelled to Australia in late June on a three-month tourist visa and his credit card was last used at Yulara near Uluru on July 12.
Mr Denon-Ross has gone missing in the UK before and police are concerned for his mental wellbeing.
