| RICHARD MAYO AND JOHN SUTTON | ARMSTRONG LAWYERS | SYDNEY CBD | NSW | after Legal aid lawyer was assigned to my case Ms Shalini Perera a repulsive arrogant rude ,person not to be trusted i was forced as an unemployed to find a legal firm in Sydney that would book me in for an interview to see me before my first Mention at the downing Centre local court . I was reffered by a priest to Richard Mayo at the time working for Armstrong Lawyers in sydney . on my first conference Mr Mayo was polite listened to my case issues and said he was going to take on my case on a payment plan of $500 per month knowing that i was on unemployment benefits. He was really great after i paid my deposit of $500 in a trust account with Armstrong Legal according to Mr Mayo having trust that being such a big firm i was in good hands. for the first 3 to 4 weeks until one week prior my first mention he responded to my calls and emails . all of a sudden 1 week before my first mention date at the local court I sent Mr Mayo text messages, voice messages emails and calls to the main office in sydney to find out why Mr Mayo was not responding to my calls emails or text messages. The office receptionist told me he was in a meeting 2 days before my hearing and kept telling me Mr Mayo will return my calls . This never happened . infact 1 day before my first mention i called the office 3 times asking for MR Mayo explaining that my first court appearance was the next day frantic .. and that i have not heard back from Mr Mayo in any form . The receptionist kept repeating to me that he is in a meeting and that he was going to call me back in an hour . 3 hours went by no phone calls no signs of Mr Mayo and no return calls from Armstrong legals receptionist to tell me what was going on ... 4 hours later i received a call by the director of the firm Mr John Sutton which i had not even met before , informing me 12 hours before my hearing frantically that Mr Richard Mayo was not going to be representing me at my first mentions and that Mr Sutton was going to be their , because Ms Mayo got fired for fraudulent activities which he committed . I felt shocked from the sudden knews just after i finding Mr Mayo thinking that i was in good hands with Armstrong lawyers with a lawyer that was their to listen to the clients when i met him the first and second time at the office. Mr sutton appeared on the first hearing for me , after the hearing he looked at my brief of evidence that was given to me by Mr Mayo and i knew he didnt even read the brief and had no idea about my case . Mr Sutton told me at court in one of the interview rooms that his firm could no longer offer the 500 dollar payment deal i had agreeed with Mr Mayo from his firm because according to him that payment deal was not a payment deal approved by his firm even though Mr Mayo agreed to that deal to pay them He insisted that if i wanted Armstong Lawyers I would have to pay full price for every hearing which left me no options after waisting my time with Armstrong Lawyers to go back and try to get Legal Aid assistance which Ms Shalini Perera based in NSW sydney harrassed me like an animal over the phone telling me , what do i want from legal aid , she cancelled my legal aid application without my consent and had to re apply to get a lawyer again even though i was already signed up with them , I asked for another lawyer because Ms Perera was rotton and was treating me like shit from the start with no respect and he attitude is not attitude that can be accepted or tolllerated by anyone . especially when you need help from a lawyer . Great Work Armstrong Legal . These guys dont stick to their words and hire crook lawyers hidden behind a smily face steel your deposits and at the end of all of this not only i didnt even get informed by armstrong legal that Mr Mayo got fired if it wasnt for me i would of found out at court My defense lawyer got fired 2 days before my hearing and Armstrong didnt even bother try calling my being the Mr Mayos client to tell me, the receptionist the day before my hearing lied to me over the phone 3 times that Mr mayo was still in a meeting while Mr Sutton and all staff in the office knew that Mr Mayo had been fired . If i didnt call them I didnt get a call from Armstong Lawyers . at the end of it they even had the nerve when i went to pick up my file to show me a bill of $ 1000 and said this is what you really needed to pay for my appearance Mr Sutton said ,..I felt like saying I have already paid $500 to Mr Mayo and really i should of been refunded the entire amount for waisting my time and for nearly leaving me with no defense on my first court mentions. ! disgraceful |
